Hello Beautiful Souls! This is Cassandra, aka Sanskrit, welcoming you to My Wake-up Time. This site is called My Wake-up Time, because it is all about you and how you start your day! When you come to this page, I want you to remember that this is all about you… your love, your peace, and your joy. How you start your day will reflect in all areas of your life. With this in mind, WELCOME to My Wake-up Time.

Did you know that waking up is the most important thing that you will do all day? Now don’t get me wrong, there are many things that you do within a day that may be important. Perhaps you take care of an ailing relative or you have children that you must dress, feed, and send off to school. Perhaps you have a job that you love and are truly dedicated to or perhaps you have a job that you hate, but you need the money, so off to work you go. Whatever you do in your day is filtered through how you woke up in the morning. That’s why I say, waking up is the most important thing that you will do all day.

Think about it like this - first, you woke up. Plain and simple, you opened your eyes, took a breath, and BAM! Here you are. Had you not woken up, none of the other things that you deem to be important would be accomplished throughout your day. So, congratulations, you woke up!

Next, if you are reading this, then you probably care about your physical, spiritual, emotional, and/or social environments. You want to set a positive tone for your day and help others to feel positive along the way, so think about it like this. When you wake up in the morning, do you open your eyes and thank goodness, thank god, thank the universe, thank yourself for another beautiful day to be on this planet, or as Dr. GuyLive likes to say, another day to be above the crust? If so, then you are on the right track, but if not, then I’d like you to read the next few lines very carefully.

When you wake up in the morning, you have an opportunity, like no other, to set the tone for your day. How will you approach life’s circumstances during this day? Will you be tossed, turned, and toppled over by the emotions and attitudes of other people? Will you be pulled down to a lower vibration because of circumstances that come your way? Or will you make the choice, when you open your eyes, to take every opportunity to make lemonade out of lemons, to make yogurt out of sour milk, or to make a dollar out of 50 cents? The choice is yours….so what will you choose?

This morning, today, is a new day, unlike any day before it and unlike any day after it. What will you choose today?

Some of you might say, but Sanskrit, what if my significant other and I get into an argument first thing in the morning. That will destroy my resolution for a positive day, right? No, it won’t. Things happen. We cannot control all of the people around us, but we can control ourselves, so when you wake up and have an argument with someone you love, or you go to work and have a disagreement with your boss, maybe you had a fender bender on the expressway, or perhaps you just don’t feel like yourself on this day. Even with all of these circumstances circulating around you, don’t fret. Just think back and remember – I woke up this morning. I took my first breath of this day. And for that, I am eternally grateful. Give each day your best efforts to generate positive vibrations everywhere your feet touch. And if you make a mistake, don’t worry. There’s tomorrow, only a good night’s sleep away, to wake up and try all over again.

I would love to hear how some of you wake up in the morning. What is your morning ritual to help you have the best day possible? Post a response to my blog, letting me know how you have created a wake-up practice that soothes your soul and prepares you for peace throughout your day. Or, send me a line at WGUYTV@gmail.com. Put it to the attention of My Wake-Up Time.  Feel free to share a picture or two that I can share with our audience in the Snap Pics Gallery, to show how you have created a ritual to actualize your best wake-up day possible, each and every day.

This is Sanskrit signing off in Love, Peace, & Bliss, reminding you to

Be Happy because It’s Contagious!
